BC high performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders to ensure accuracy and tolerances within 0.02 mm. Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower results before being put into production. Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass the cost savings on to the end user by grinding cores in high volume. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked with sub-micron precision high-speed measurement gauges. The Adcole camshaft measurement system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, providing a resolution of 0.01 microns and taking one data point every 1/10th of a degree, or 3,600 data points per revolution. Measuring camshafts for lift error and chatter marks, this model can measure 200 parts per hour.
