Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower gains before being put into production. By grinding cores in high volume, Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass cost savings on to the end user. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked with high-speed measuring gauges with sub-micron precision. The Adcole camshaft measuring system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, capturing one data point every 1/10 of a degree—3,600 data points per revolution—at 0.01-micron resolution. Measuring camshafts for lift errors and chatter marks, this model can measure 200 parts per hour.
