It is said that to be successful, you must identify a need and fulfill it. In the early 1970s, racing enthusiast Gary Holzapfel noticed that many of his friends' broken engines were caused by fastener failure. At the time, there were no commercially available studs or bolts that could meet this challenge. So, leveraging his years of experience manufacturing fasteners for a major aerospace subcontractor, Mr. Holzapfel founded ARP (Automotive Racing Products). In the years that followed, the company grew from what was literally a backyard garage workshop into a highly diversified manufacturer with seven entities in Southern California, covering a total area of over 200,000 square feet. These include forging, heat treating, machining, quality control finishing, and packaging/warehousing facilities in Santa Paula and Ventura, California.

At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Checking Fitment
Our entire product database is based on North American (USDM) vehicles, so please check whether they can be installed on Japanese (JDM) vehicles before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to check for you.)
If you order without verifying fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model in the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Delivery
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Estimates for shipping costs are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international delivery takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air. No items are shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection Compliance
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for Japanese vehicle inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be delivery damage to packaging boxes or products. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement products if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding products with delivery damage, defective items, or items different from your order. Please note that for products sold through our company, warranty support will be provided "only through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
