〇 Regarding Import Duties/Taxes
At Shafutoya, we cover the import consumption taxes incurred upon entry into Japan, so there are no additional costs beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Checking Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American (USDM) vehicles. Please verify compatibility with Japanese (JDM) models before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
If an order is placed without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model on our top page, it does not necessarily guarantee a direct, bolt-on fit for Japanese domestic models.
All product descriptions are translated using software. Please contact us before ordering if you have any questions about confusing expressions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Estimates are calculated automatically upon entering your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automated estimate and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international delivery typically takes 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please inquire about estimated delivery dates in advance. All items are shipped via air freight; we do not use sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
Our products are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide structural strength documentation. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, and off-road use only," and their installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents of your package immediately upon arrival. As all items are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the box or product. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for items with shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for items sold through our company, all warranty-related support must be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors within Japan.
