The BMW G2X / G42 B48 Eventuri intake was developed to reduce restrictions in the intake path to the turbocharger and to keep intake temperatures low. Heat and volume are the primary considerations in the intake design for turbocharged engines. In the G20 3 Series, G22 4 Series, and G42 2 Series, the engine bay absorbs heat rapidly as the intake system is positioned next to the exhaust manifold. When intake air temperatures rise, the turbocharger compresses less dense air, preventing the engine from reaching its full power potential. Therefore, the only way to minimize IAT (Intake Air Temperature) is to use a fully sealed intake. However, this method limits the intake path because there is only one air inlet. During development, we identified a new opening in the wheel arch area and utilized it to add a secondary air inlet to the airbox. Furthermore, the sealed airbox is equipped with a heat shield featuring a gold reflective lining to minimize radiant heat transfer from the exhaust manifold. To ensure maximum airbox volume, we created a recess for the strut brace to allow for the largest possible airbox. The factory convoluted intake tube has been replaced with a smooth carbon tube with a larger internal volume, which tapers smoothly from an inner diameter of 111mm (4.4 inches) to match the turbo inlet. This tube provides a smooth path from the filter to the turbo inlet. Finally, we have adopted a custom-made high-flow dry filter that has been ISO-tested for filtration performance and features a larger filtration area than the standard filter.
Eventuri Features
The G2X B48 Eventuri system utilizes a patented carbon fiber housing and a second-generation custom filter to provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbo. This is not just a cone filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that induces a Venturi effect and maintains laminar flow, thereby reducing drag on the turbo. The G2X / G42 B48 factory airbox system was updated for vehicles manufactured from November 2018 onwards, replacing the airflow sensor with a temperature sensor in the inlet tube. Since all airbox systems prior to that were equipped with an airflow sensor, we offer two variations: the V1 intake with an inlet tube for a MAF (airflow) sensor, and the V2 intake with a temperature sensor for vehicles manufactured from November 2018 onwards.

If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there are rare cases where the automatically calculated shipping fee differs significantly from the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our warehouse in the United States. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the delivery time. All products are transported via air freight; they are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please be aware that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide structural strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off public roads," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, the packaging box or the product itself may sustain shipping damage. We will handle returns, refunds, or exchanges only if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding products with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty support will be provided "exclusively through us."
