GTI MK6 CAI
The Cobb Tuning Cold Air Intake for the Golf GTI consists of a full 3-inch (approx. 76.3mm) aluminum tube, a custom aluminum airbox, and a dual-cone intake filter. It is mandrel-bent and powder-coated black. The 3-inch (approx. 76.3mm) intake tube and custom airbox look great in the engine bay and significantly increase airflow potential. The reusable Green Filter can be cleaned and reused for the life of the vehicle.
Replacing the factory intake and airbox with the Cobb Tuning Cold Air Intake significantly reduces pre-turbo restrictions. By removing these restrictions, the engine's efficiency is improved while making it possible to generate more power.

All of our product databases are based on North American specification (USDM) vehicles; please confirm whether or not these products can be installed on Japanese specification (JDM) vehicles before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model using the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping quotes are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the automatically calculated shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all items are transported via air freight. They will not be shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspections
The products we handle are fundamentally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these requirements. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road use," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be instances of shipping damage to the packaging or the products themselves. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for shipping-damaged items, defective products, or items different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, regarding products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through our company." Please note that we do not handle support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
