Chase Bays Power Steering Deletion 1992 - 2000 Honda Civic & 1994 - 2001 Acura Integra
If you want to delete power steering in your 92-95 Civic or 94-01 Integra, this is the correct way to do it. This keeps the rack properly lubricated and vented. It comes with everything you need: steering rack adapters, -6AN hoses (2), power steering reservoir, and reservoir bracket. All hoses and hose ends are BMRS, aka Brown & Miller Racing. These are the best hoses/hose ends in the world, the same components found on NASCAR and IndyCar. All fitting adapters are designed and manufactured by Chase Bays to be chassis-specific for a completely leak-free installation.
Many people switch to a manual rack, but the power rack has a faster steering ratio. A manual rack is 4 turns lock-to-lock, while a power rack is 3 turns lock-to-lock. Aftermarket rack and pinions to lower the steering ratio of a manual rack are expensive and time-consuming to install. There are also power steering deletion kits that loop the rack, but this is very bad for the steering rack and can blow out the seals. From our experience with Time Attack Civics, we know that two racks will go to waste.
A power steering rack generates pressures that are unacceptable for a loop. Disconnect the lines at the rack and turn the wheels back and forth. Fluid will spurt out at high speed. That is pressure that needs to appear and disappear as needed. Our vented and baffled reservoir handles this easily.

If you order without confirming fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our top page, it does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese models without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the automatically calculated shipping cost may rarely differ significantly from the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. All products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we handle are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit, private property, or off-road use," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product. For products with shipping damage, defective products, or products different from your order, we will accept returns, refunds, or exchanges only if you contact us within 7 days of receipt.
