In contrast, the Version I ABS plastic overlays weigh 239 grams per side—truly half the weight. With the exception of the mounting clips, these are made of 100% carbon fiber, making them lighter and stronger in tensile strength than the ABS plastic overlay version.
The term "dry carbon fiber" comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is molded using "pre-preg" or impregnated carbon material sheets. These carbon sheets are first placed into a mold and then properly cured in a sealed vacuum environment (autoclave). This method results in the fewest impurities and produces a lighter carbon than the "wet" process. The autoclave vacuum treatment reduces pinholes in the carbon and ensures almost no air bubbles occur. Dry carbon is the highest quality material among carbon fiber products produced.

Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. ○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection
