Upgrade your off-road lighting with the Baja Designs XL40 LED headlight kit (with dimming function), specifically designed for GasGas EC and ES motorcycles. Featuring the powerful light output of the XL80, the XL40 provides 5,224 lumens of proven power for a wide range of bikes. The included dimmer allows you to adjust the brightness to your preference with a fully variable range from 95% to 20%.
Designed for dirt bikes with low-output OEM stators, it consumes only 43.5W of power. This is the perfect upgrade for riders who previously lacked high-performance premium options. Combined with the patented XL trail lens, it achieves vertical and horizontal beam coverage, providing excellent near-field and peripheral visibility. The trail lens redistributes the intensity of the center beam and eliminates sharp hotspots, improving visibility on terrain elevation changes, vertical shifts, and sharp corners. The result is smooth, uniform light distribution that allows you to ride with confidence even on demanding terrain.
This kit replaces the OEM headlight unit and includes a dimmer switch and an easy-to-install Motominded mount.

〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At Shaftoya, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Confirmation of Fitment
All product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm compatibility with Japanese domestic (JDM) models before ordering. (If you are unsure whether a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
We cannot accept returns due to incompatibility if an order is placed without confirming fitment.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model on our top page, it does not necessarily guarantee a direct, bolt-on fit for Japanese market vehicles.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping fees are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping cost estimates are automatically calculated when you enter your delivery address at checkout. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping fee and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international delivery takes approximately 7–14 days, so please allow ample time for your order to arrive. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to confirm delivery times in advance. Note that all items are transported via air freight. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products handled by our company are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these inspections. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, or off-road use" purposes, and installation/usage is at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all items are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be cases of delivery damage to the shipping box or the product itself. We will handle returns, refunds, or replacements only if notified within 7 days of receipt regarding items with delivery damage, defects, or incorrect items received. Please note that for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors within Japan.
