With a curb weight of just over 2,000 lbs, the MR-2 Spyder is one of the lightest roadsters currently available on the market. Increasing the power of this little roadster rocket may overwhelm the stock body and wheels. To improve traction, APR has developed the MR-2 Spyder S-GT wide body kit. Other components are also included to further enhance the aerodynamic performance of the S-GT wide body kit.
Because mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive cars have their center of gravity near the middle of the vehicle, they are prone to snappy oversteer, and the MR-2 Spyder's front end tends to be light. To address this, the S-GT body kit comes with a front splitter and canards to improve front-wheel traction. The S-GT body kit also features enlarged side intake ducts designed to increase the amount of air flowing into the engine bay. To maximize the amount of rear-wheel traction the MR-2 generates, the GTC-300 adjustable carbon fiber wing* is also used. Finally, a wide body kit for the MR-2 Spyder is here that maintains a clean street look with all the components necessary for a race car.
This aerodynamic kit includes:
- Wide body front bumper
- Carbon fiber front wind splitter/undertray
- Wide body front fenders with wheel turbulence exhaust ports (45mm)
- Wide body side skirts
- Wide body rear fenders (45mm)
- Wide body rear bumper with wheel turbulence exhaust ports
Please note: The Formula GT3 mirrors and GTC-300 universal wing are not included with the S-GT wide body kit.

〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shafutoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Confirmation of Compatibility
Since our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM), please confirm whether the product can be installed on a Japanese vehicle (JDM) before placing an order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to check for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Delivery
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic delivery within Japan, international delivery takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the delivery time. Please note that all products are transported by air freight. They are never shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
The products we handle are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they do not comply with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we are unable to provide documents such as strength study reports for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and please install and use them at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging box or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for products with shipping damage, defective products, or items different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, we will handle warranty-related issues "only through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
