ECUMaster EMU Black
The EMU BLACK is a standalone engine management system designed to control the operation of spark-ignited engines, built to work with the most advanced and complex engines currently available.
It is the successor to our proven ECUMaster EMU system. The EMU Black is primarily intended for use in modified race cars, street cars, motorcycles, boats, and stationary engine applications.
The EMU Black features sophisticated drive-by-wire throttle strategies and provides extensive control with advanced algorithmic reliability (fault/error detection) and fail-safe functions. Easy (free) firmware upgrades ensure the system's capabilities improve over time (new strategies, trigger patterns, CAN-Bus data streams, etc.).

○ Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred upon import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
○Compatibility Check
As our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM), please confirm whether or not a product can be installed on a Japanese vehicle (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by year, manufacturer, and model using the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they are compatible with Japanese-spec vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. An estimate of shipping costs is automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air. They will not be shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
Please be aware that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) system," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these regulations. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or products different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, warranty-related support is provided "only through us." Support through other companies or distributors located within Japan is not provided.
