Chase Bays Dual Piston Bolt-On Brake Booster Delete Kit 6:1 Pedal Ratio
This Chase Bays bolt-on brake booster delete kit is a manual brake conversion kit specifically designed for motorsport use.
By eliminating the brake booster and adopting a 6:1 pedal ratio optimized for motorsports, this kit provides the stable brake feel, pedal feedback, and superior control required for circuit racing, drifting, and rallying.
While the stock brake booster is comfortable for street driving, in sports driving, the braking force can vary depending on pedal effort and the boost level, making delicate brake modulation difficult.
This product is a competition-only system developed for drivers who prioritize braking consistency.
Why manual brakes?
Many top-tier racing categories, such as F1, GT cars, and rally cars, utilize manual brake systems.
The reasons are:
- Consistent brake feel every time
- Superior control performance
- Precise brake operation possible right up to the point of lock-up
These are crucial advantages in competitive driving.
When set up with the correct pedal ratio, master cylinder bore size, brake pads, and front-to-rear bias, a manual brake system delivers more stable braking force than a power-assisted brake system.
Benefits of the 6:1 pedal ratio
Stock vehicle pedal ratios are generally around 3.5–4.5:1.
This product uses a dedicated bracket to change this to 6:1.
This offers benefits such as:
- Ability to use a larger 1-inch master cylinder
- Efficient conversion of pedal input to hydraulic pressure
- Increased braking force without significantly changing pedal travel
- Efficient transmission of driver pedal effort to the brakes
and more.
Ideal for motorsport
Manual brakes are an extremely user-friendly system for:
- Left-foot braking
- Weight transfer
- Fine deceleration control
which are frequently used in drifting, gymkhana, and rally driving.
Because the response to pedal input is linear, you can perform delicate brake modulation while preventing brake lock-up.

〇Checking Compatibility
All of our product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please verify compatibility with your Japanese domestic market (JDM) vehicle before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
We cannot accept returns due to incompatibility if you place an order without confirming compatibility first.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, this does not guarantee that they will fit a Japanese-market vehicle without modification.
All items are translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us with any questions before placing your order.
○Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Estimates for shipping can be calculated automatically by entering your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the automatic shipping calculation may occasionally differ significantly from the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all items are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. ○Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
Our products are, in principle, designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for such inspections. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of use on tracks, private property, or non-public roads, and their installation and use are entirely at your own risk.
