BC high performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders to ensure accuracy and tolerances within 0.02 mm. Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno tested to prove horsepower results before being put into mass production. Brian Crower, Inc. passes the cost savings on to the end user by grinding cores in mass volume. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked on a high-speed measurement gauge with sub-micron precision. The Adcole camshaft measurement system uses individual measurement heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, capturing one data point every 1/10th of a degree—3,600 data points per revolution—at 0.01-micron resolution. Measuring camshafts for lift error and chatter marks, this model can measure 200 parts per hour.
