This self-standing retractable awning attaches to the side of most roof racks or roof bars, fitting neatly on most vehicles and conveniently stowed for immediate use upon arrival. Designed for harsh wilderness conditions, the awning features anodized height-adjustable telescopic legs, hook-and-loop ties to secure the roof, and thick reinforced aluminum extrusions protected from the elements, all housed in a heavy-duty nylon-reinforced PVC bag. It is made from durable, PU-coated 300gsm poly/cotton ripstop canvas, which is fully waterproof and UVP 50+ rated. The ARB awning is available in three excellent sizes and accommodates mounting points up to 6.9 feet (approx. 2.1m) high. (Length refers to the distance from the vehicle.) Included are pegs and guy ropes for securing the legs, stainless steel mounting nuts and bolts, and detailed instructions.
