To effectively lower the temperature of the charged air, a vertical airflow design is utilized, achieving overwhelming cooling efficiency. The core features a 22"x14"x4.5" bar-and-plate construction, boasting 92.5% more air volume than two stock GT-R intercoolers combined! The core has double the fin density of most commercially available intercoolers, significantly increasing the contact area with cool, high-density air. Furthermore, pressure drop is kept to under 1 psi, maximizing the GT-R's overwhelming power.
Our engineering team designed the end tanks of the Alpha GT-R intercooler with extremely smooth, streamlined shapes to achieve maximum flow. Designed using Solidworks 3D CAD, these end tanks offer significantly higher flow compared to the boxy sheet-metal tanks of competitors. The large end tanks feature 3-inch CNC-machined billet inlet/outlet ports, ensuring a smooth, tapered flow from the intake to the intercooler. Additionally, the team precision-molded custom silicone hoses using computer-aided design to ensure a perfect fit and optimized flow and velocity, providing unparalleled power and response.
This intercooler kit maximizes the GT-R's front area while improving the functionality of the stock intercooler shroud. The included bridge plates and shroud plates form an airtight seal around the core, properly directing cold air from the shroud into the core. These plates prevent air leakage from the sides, top, and bottom of the core, maximizing cooling efficiency and effectiveness—a detail often overlooked by competitors. Another major advantage is that it can be installed without cutting the stock crash beam or bumper cover.

○Shipping

All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. ○Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)" standards, and we cannot provide strength calculation documents for Japanese inspection purposes.
