AEM 92-96 Prelude S/Si/Si VTEC Polished Short Ram Intake

The AEM 22-405P Performance Short Ram Air Intake System is designed as an easy way to increase engine horsepower and torque at an affordable price. Replace your restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing with this AEM air intake system. It is designed, tuned, and dyno-tested to fit specific Honda Prelude models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter, providing superior airflow, filtration, and performance. The engine sound also changes to a deeper, more aggressive resonance when you step on the gas, allowing you to hear and feel the power increase. The intake tubing is mandrel-bent aluminum with a durable chrome-like finish. This air intake system has been developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices (such as engine breather hoses and vacuum lines). The tapered cylindrical AEM Dryflow air filter is made of oil-free synthetic filter media and can be used for up to 100,000 miles (approx. 160,900 km) without cleaning, depending on operating conditions. Installation is simple using common tools and comes with an AEM Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California or other states adopting California emission standards, but some are 50-state legal. As our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM), please confirm whether the item can be installed on a Japanese vehicle (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure whether the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model via the tabs on our top page, this does not guarantee that they will fit Japanese market vehicles without modification.
All products are translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the amount calculated automatically. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.

Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to check the delivery date in advance. Note that all products are transported by air. They are never shipped by sea freight.

○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
Products we handle are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.

○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding products with shipping damage, defective goods, or items different from your order. Also, for products sold through us, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not handle support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
