For vehicles with an electric starter that require stator modification or rewinding, a switch and wiring harness kit must be purchased. For details, please refer to the "STATOR Reference Chart" under the Tech Info header. For some electric starter models, using an LED light requires modifying or rewinding the stator and adding a new regulator/rectifier. If a regulator/rectifier replacement is required, please order part number #12-2004 (please provide your vehicle year, make, and model information). For vehicles requiring stator modification to support LED lights, detailed modification instructions and hardware are included. If a rewind is required, please contact Baja Designs to obtain an order confirmation number. This kit can be used on 2001 and newer 2-stroke KTMs and 2001 and newer carbureted 4-stroke KTMs equipped with a lighting coil. Please refer to the stator chart HERE for details. For 2013 SX, XC, and XC-W KTM models, the 2014-2016 KTM kit must be purchased.

If you order without verifying compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ About Delivery
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Estimates for shipping costs are automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when placing your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. Please note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.

Please note that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese Road-Legal Compliance (Shaken) system," and we cannot provide structural strength documentation or similar paperwork for the Japanese Shaken system. Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. We will only accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for products with shipping damage, defective items, or items different from what was ordered if you notify us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "only through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
