Plug-and-play compatible only with 2007 EXC models. For bikes equipped with an electric starter that require stator modification or rewinding, a switch and wiring harness kit must be purchased. Please refer to the "STATOR Reference Chart" under the Tech Info heading for details. For electric start bikes: Some electric start bikes require stator modification, rewinding, or the addition of a new rectifier/regulator to use LED lights. If a new rectifier/regulator is required, please order part number (#12-2004) (please specify make, model, and year). Detailed modification instructions and hardware are included for vehicles that require stator modification to use LED lights. If your stator needs to be rewound, please contact Baja Designs to obtain an RMA number for service.

At Shaftoya, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Confirmation of Compatibility
All of our product databases are based on North American (USDM) vehicles, so please confirm compatibility with your Japanese (JDM) vehicle before ordering. (Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle; our support team will be happy to assist you.)
If you order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model on our top page tabs, it does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese market vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. For shipping cost estimates, please enter your delivery address on the checkout page, and it will be calculated automatically. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the automated calculation. In such cases, we will contact you individually by email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our warehouse in the United States. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. Note that all items are shipped via air freight; they are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection
The products we handle are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they do not conform to "Japanese vehicle inspection standards" (shaken) in any way, and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation sheets for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging box or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for damaged, defective, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, all warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
