At Shaft-ya, we cover the import consumption tax incurred during shipping, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Confirmation of Fitment
Our entire product database is based on North American (USDM) vehicles; please confirm whether the item is compatible with your Japanese (JDM) vehicle before placing an order. (If you are unsure if a listed product will fit your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, this does not necessarily guarantee a direct fit for Japanese-model vehicles without modification.
All product descriptions have been translated into Japanese using translation software. Due to the potential for confusing terminology, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Shipping Information
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the automated calculation. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time for your order to arrive. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to verify delivery times. All items are transported via air freight; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
All products we carry are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) system," and we are unable to provide strength verification documents or similar paperwork for these requirements. Therefore, all parts are sold for "track, private property, or off-road use only," and their installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Warranty
Please inspect the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of damage to the packaging or the product during transit. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement items for products that arrive damaged, are defective, or are incorrect, provided you notify us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for any product purchased through us, all warranty-related issues must be handled "exclusively through our company." We cannot provide support through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
