〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Checking Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM), so please verify whether items are compatible with Japanese vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure whether a listed product fits your vehicle. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model via the tabs on our homepage, it does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All product descriptions are translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us with any questions before placing your order.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping fees are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there are rare instances where there is a significant difference between the automatically calculated shipping fee and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a rush, please contact us to confirm the delivery time in advance. All items are transported by air; they are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please note that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese vehicle inspection system," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranties
Please check the contents of your package as soon as it arrives. Because all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be cases of shipping damage to the packaging box or the product itself. Please understand that we only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for damaged, defective, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Additionally, for products sold through us, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through our company." Please be aware that we do not coordinate with other companies or agencies located within Japan for these matters.
