Rigorously tested under Australia’s harshest conditions, these big-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorbers with remote reservoirs are bolt-on compatible without vehicle modifications, combining everyday comfort with high-end zone damping for superior chassis control and handling off-road. Damping performance is widely adjustable for both rebound and compression, allowing for significant changes in ride feel and custom tuning to suit specific conditions or vehicle setups. The body, reservoir, and components are all crafted from 6061 T6 aluminum, with a Type 3 40-micron hard-anodized finish to ensure excellent heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone damage. Designed, developed, and tested in-house by ARB’s Old Man Emu ride engineering team, all BP-51 shock absorbers are manufactured by ARB. To achieve this, ARB has invested heavily in state-of-the-art machinery, allowing for total control over the manufacturing process and ensuring the highest quality product.
