〇Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At Shaftoya, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Confirmation of Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM), so please verify whether the item is compatible with Japanese domestic vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If an order is placed without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, this does not guarantee they will fit Japanese models without modification.
All product descriptions have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. In rare cases, there may be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost for large items such as body parts. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time for delivery. If you are in a rush, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all items are transported via air freight. We do not use sea freight.
○Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
The products we handle are fundamentally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength evaluation reports for that purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or exchanges for products that have shipping damage, are defective, or differ from what was ordered if you notify us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through our company." Please note that we cannot provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
