Upgrade your off-road lighting with the Baja Designs XL40 LED headlight kit—specifically designed for the KTM 690 Enduro R. Inspired by the performance of the XL80, the XL40 brings race-proven 5,224 lumens to a wider range of motorcycles. Designed for off-road bikes equipped with lower-output stock stators, it consumes only 43.5W, providing a powerful upgrade without significant power draw. The built-in low beam function operates at approximately 25% of the high beam output, delivering 1,435 lumens when full brightness is not required.
Combined with the signature XL Driving/Combo lens, the XL40 produces a beam pattern with both vertical and horizontal spread, ensuring exceptional near-field and peripheral visibility. The Driving/Combo lens redistributes the intense hot spot of the center beam, improving vertical clarity for steep elevation changes and tight corners. The result is a smooth, uniform field of light that provides confidence even in the toughest terrain.
This kit replaces the stock OEM headlight and comes with a plug-and-play high/low wiring harness for KTM.

Our entire product database is based on North American specification vehicles (USDM). Please check whether the product is compatible with your Japanese specification vehicle (JDM) before placing an order. (If you are unsure if the listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to assist you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, it does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Shipping Information
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there are rare cases where there is a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. All products are transported via air freight; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Japanese Vehicle Inspection Compatibility
Please note that the products we handle are fundamentally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these standards. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit use, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Warranty Information
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding damaged, defective, or incorrect items. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not coordinate with other domestic companies or agencies in Japan for warranty claims.
