Cobb Tuning 2015+ Volkswagen/Audi Turbo Blanket
The Cobb Tuning Turbo Blanket insulates the turbine housing and offers multiple benefits. It prevents the dissipation of effective exhaust energy, which improves turbo RPM acceleration. This leads to faster turbo spooling and reaching peak torque sooner. It also helps limit heat soak to components adjacent to the turbocharger.
The Cobb Tuning Turbo Blanket is designed to limit the amount of heat radiating from the turbocharger into the engine bay and to keep the high-temperature exhaust gases in the system, which would otherwise exit faster due to lower density. By limiting the amount of transferred heat, it extends the lifespan of under-hood components, lowers intake temperatures, and improves the car's responsiveness.
Constructed with an outer layer of pulverized volcanic rock (rated for 1500°F direct heat / 1800°F radiant heat) and an inner layer of high-temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool (rated for 1800°F direct heat / 2300°F peak heat).

〇 About Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Confirmation of Compatibility
Since our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM), please confirm whether the product can be installed on Japanese market vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to check for you.)
If you order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are filtered by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they are compatible with Japanese models without modifications.
All products are translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ About Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping quotes are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the amount calculated automatically. In such cases, we will contact you individually by email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to confirm delivery times in advance. Please note that all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we handle are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation reports or similar documentation for Japanese inspections. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival of your product. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product. For products with shipping damage, defective products, or products different from your order, we will provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges only if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand this. Also, for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not handle support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
