Overview
Modern turbo engines recirculate blow-by gas from the crankcase back into the intake path through the factory PCV system.
While effective for emissions compliance, this gas contains oil vapor, fuel, and moisture, which accumulate in the intake manifold over time.
These contaminants promote carbon buildup on intake valves, reduce fuel octane, and increase the risk of engine knock.
The PRL Helix Air Oil Separator removes these contaminants before they can return to the intake system, keeping your intake path clean while supporting stable engine operation without affecting metered air or factory driving characteristics.
At the heart of the PRL AOS (Air Oil Separator) is a proprietary internal helix that generates centrifugal force within the canister. As blow-by gas enters the system, heavy oil particles, fuel, and moisture are forced against the walls of the can by centrifugal force and collect at the bottom.
Only clean air is then returned to the intake system, maintaining closed-loop operation and preventing interference with proper fuel injection. The unit is serviceable and requires periodic draining, depending on usage environment and climate.
The PRL Helix AOS is designed and manufactured in-house, featuring a CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum canister coated in a durable hard-anodized finish.
Available in black or silver anodized finishes. The kit includes a laser-cut and CNC-bent 304 stainless steel mounting bracket.
Combined with custom-molded reinforced rubber hoses, billet aluminum fittings, a billet check valve, and Viton O-rings, it provides long-term durability, chemical resistance, and a clean, factory-like engine bay appearance.

Our entire product database is based on North American specification (USDM) vehicles. Please verify whether the product can be installed on Japanese specification (JDM) vehicles before ordering. If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.

○ Shipping Information
Shipping fees are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when placing your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please be aware that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System (Shaken)," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation sheets for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon delivery. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the products themselves. We will only handle returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
