Cobb Mazdaspeed3 Gen2 Stainless Steel 3" Cat-Back Exhaust
The layout of this Cobb Tuning 3" SS cat-back was chosen to minimize the total bend angle used in the routing of the exhaust piping to reduce backpressure. The exhaust pipes are 3 inches in diameter from the downpipe to the split, where two 2.5-inch pipes carry the exhaust out of the system, fitting within the factory exhaust path for maximum ground clearance.
The resulting path of least resistance minimizes backpressure and provides maximum power gains. The harsh exhaust drone of the engine is suppressed by one primary resonator and one secondary resonator. These chambered resonators reduce sound without restricting exhaust flow. The resulting mellow rumble is powerful, felt rather than heard, and not intimidating.
This exhaust is designed to meet a 95dB noise limit, even when used as part of a full turbo-back exhaust system. Great effort was taken to make this exhaust look as good as it sounds and performs. Both resonators are custom-built and finished with beautiful welds. The 2.5-inch and 3-inch stainless steel piping has a satin finish for a beautiful appearance. The exhaust is finished with two 4-inch slash-cut, double-wall roll tips featuring the laser-etched Cobb Tuning logo. The entire kit is constructed from T304 stainless steel, ensuring it will maintain this excellent appearance for years to come.
This cat-back exhaust can be used with stock or direct-replacement downpipes. The two-bolt flanges allow for minor adjustments for a perfect fit. All gaskets and hardware are included, and it uses the factory donut gasket for mating with the downpipe.

Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air freight; they will not be shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation papers for this system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.

Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, packaging boxes and products may sustain shipping damage. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt.
