The Scion FR-S, Toyota GT86, and Subaru BRZ all share the same chassis. Wisefab has designed lightweight, ultra-strong billet knuckles and lower control arms. We have also relocated and replaced the OEM electric steering rack with a hydraulic steering rack to improve reaction and feedback from the road during racing. The kinematics have been revised for maximum lateral performance, with adjustable Ackerman settings. A Nissan S-chassis hydraulic steering rack (50mm outer diameter) is required to replace the stock electric power steering. S-chassis steering rack attachment/crossmember inserts and crossmember supports are included in the kit. DIY cutting and welding are required to modify the crossmember.

You can adjust the steering geometry in the positive Ackerman direction in just a few minutes, even trackside, without disturbing the alignment. Ackerman adjustment is included in the kit. -

High roll center (RC)
Using our knuckles lowers the ball joints, which raises the front RC for lowered cars, providing higher roll stiffness. This allows for the removal of the front anti-roll bar (stabilizer), which is often very difficult to package with high lock angles. -
Excellent camber control and minimal bump steer at high steering angles
For drift cars, dynamic camber control and bump steer are far more important than static camber control. Our kinematics ensure that the camber provides excellent front grip and that bump steer is minimized throughout the steering range. -
Steering jacking control
During drifting, jacking increases at high steering angles, which can be an issue even with the same geometry. We have modified the geometry in a way that avoids operational problems. -
Consistent and predictable self-aligning torque.
Caster is not the only critical parameter for providing sufficient self-aligning torque, especially at high lock. It is a combination of various parameters to maintain consistent trail and self-aligning torque. With this setup, the steering wheel always rotates in the direction of travel and does not get stuck at full lock.

Additional information:
- This kit assumes the use of coilovers with sufficient clearance.
- Depending on rim width and ET, wider fenders or fender flares will be required.
- The Subaru BRZ engine bay is very spacious, so we recommend using tires no larger than 605 mm (215/40R17, 225/40R17, 215/35R18, 225/35R18).
- If the tire diameter is up to 635 mm (e.g., 215/45R17, 225/45R17, 235/40R17, 225/40R18) and the car is lowered, minor modifications to the inner wheel wells will be necessary.
- Minimum rim size is 17 inches, though 18 inches is recommended.
- Recommended backspacing is 135-140 mm (7-inch ET45, 8-inch ET35, 9-inch ET25). If the ET is smaller, the wheel will sit further out; if the ET is larger, spacers will be required.
- Stock wheel speed sensors can be used.
