Verus Engineering Performance Front Splitter Kit for 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R
The Verus Engineering front splitter was designed to follow the factory bumper lines while significantly increasing front-end downforce. This kit is designed to handle downforce loads while remaining as simple and easy to install as possible. The front splitter is made from a durable and lightweight plastic and attaches to the chassis hard points via two splitter ties and multiple bumper mounting locations.
The front splitter is highly effective at creating efficient front-end downforce. This is achieved by creating a large delta between the top and bottom surfaces. By utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software during the R&D process, we were able to ensure the front splitter delivers the intended performance gains while maintaining balance with the rear wing kit.
We utilized scan data taken in-house during the design process. The result is a product that offers fit and finish nearly identical to factory parts. The front splitter was designed for owners looking to reduce front-end lift on their Civic Type R. By installing the front splitter and increasing front-end downforce, you can improve traction during high-speed driving.

Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm whether or not parts can be installed on Japanese vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will investigate for you.)
If you order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese models without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually by email.
Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Please note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents for Japanese vehicle inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-public roads," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival of your product. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, we will only handle warranty issues "through us." We do not handle issues through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
