At Shaftoya, we cover the import consumption tax incurred upon entry into Japan, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
○Confirmation of Fitment
Our entire product database is based on North American (USDM) specifications. Please confirm whether the part will fit your Japanese (JDM) vehicle before ordering. (If you are unsure if a product will fit your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you order without confirming fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if a product is sorted by year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, it does not guarantee a direct, bolt-on fitment for Japanese-spec vehicles.
All product descriptions are translated into Japanese using software. There may be confusing phrasing, so please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may significantly differ from the automated calculation. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to verify delivery times. All items are shipped via air freight; they are not shipped by sea.
○Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Our products are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection" (Shaken) standards, and we cannot provide structural strength documentation or similar paperwork for these purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for "track, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if you notify us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for all products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "only through us." We do not coordinate with other companies or agencies located within Japan.
