Verus Engineering Composite Front Splitter for 2016-2018 Ford Focus RS
A front splitter effectively generates front-end downforce without significantly increasing drag. This is achieved by creating a large pressure differential between the top and bottom surfaces of the splitter. The Verus Engineering composite front splitter for the Focus RS is no exception. This unit is constructed entirely of durable and lightweight thermoplastic carbon and is secured to the chassis hard points via two splitter ties and multiple bumper mounting locations. This allows it to handle high downforce loads. The material, also used in various motorsports, is not brittle, so it will not crack or bend under the vehicle like aluminum sheets.
By utilizing cutting-edge analysis software throughout the R&D process, we were able to predict the splitter's performance when installed on the vehicle. We designed it properly so that the diffuser and splitter work well together. In the design process, we utilized in-house scan data, which enabled a fit and finish that is close to OEM.
The front splitter was designed for owners who want to reduce front-end lift and improve traction during high-speed driving. The two-piece design not only saves on shipping costs but also allows for easy replacement by purchasing half of the splitter piece if it gets damaged.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. For shipping estimates, they are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually by email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to confirm the delivery date in advance. All products are transported via air freight. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
In principle, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding items with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items received. Please note that for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
