Skunk2 Universal High-Speed Intake Kit with Mounting Ring
The Skunk2 Universal High-Speed Intake Kit reduces heat soak and maximizes airflow and velocity for any intake system. This kit utilizes a large-flow, low-restriction 6.8-inch diameter air filter featuring a unique double-cone design. Inverting the inner filter cone not only increases filter surface area and airflow but also helps reduce internal turbulence. The filter is used to guide incoming air, achieving higher flow rates and velocity.
The filter includes a proprietary composite velocity stack with golf ball-like dimples incorporated into the surface. These dimples create an energized boundary layer, reducing surface resistance and allowing air to stay attached as it curves into the bell mouth. The result is increased air velocity and a greater mass of air supplied to the engine. When conventional air filter designs were flow-tested against the Skunk2 filter using advanced CFD analysis programs, the filter showed a 20% increase in air volume. This means a significant reduction in engine restriction.

○ Regarding Delivery
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. Estimates for shipping costs are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international delivery takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to check the delivery date in advance. All products are transported via air freight; there is no sea freight shipping.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Essentially, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to packaging boxes or the products themselves. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, we will handle warranty-related issues "only through our company." We do not handle issues through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
