Alpha Series rods are forged from select 4340 chromoly steel and feature a straight H-beam design for the ultimate strength-to-weight ratio. While 4340 chromoly is among the strongest materials available, not all 4340 chromoly is created equal. That is why Skunk2 relies on extensive material testing and works closely with foundries to produce high-quality rods at an affordable price. A combination of comprehensive heat treatment, tempering, and shot-peening processes ensures that each Alpha Series rod maintains consistency and strength. Finally, each rod is Magnafluxed to ensure integrity, verifying that every process has been completed strictly to Skunk2’s exacting specifications. Not all forged H-beam rods are created equal; only Skunk2’s Alpha Series rods feature our proprietary design and precision machining to handle over 900 hp, all at an economical price.

At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred during customs clearance on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Checking Compatibility
As our entire product database is based on North American vehicle (USDM) specifications, please confirm compatibility with Japanese (JDM) vehicles before ordering. (If you are unsure whether a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to check for you.)
We cannot accept returns due to incompatibility if you place an order without confirming fitment beforehand.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and model using the tabs on our homepage, it does not necessarily guarantee a direct, bolt-on fit for Japanese market models.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the automated calculation. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, please allow 7 to 14 days for international delivery. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to check the lead time before ordering. All items are transported via air freight; they are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compliance
All products handled by our company are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that these products are not designed to comply with Japan's "Shaken" (vehicle inspection) system, and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for such purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold intended for "use on tracks, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, packaging or products may occasionally sustain shipping damage. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for damaged items, defective products, or incorrect shipments if contacted within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not coordinate with other companies or agencies located within Japan regarding warranty claims.
