Alta Performance Shifter Cable Lockdown for 10th Gen Civic
Over time, the shift cables on the 10th Gen Civic begin to loosen. This causes a noticeable "double click" sound when shifting into 2nd, 4th, and 6th gears. This issue is even more pronounced when aftermarket short shifter adapters and rods are installed. These annoyances are solved with the ALTA Shifter Cable Lockdown.
The ALTA Shifter Cable Lockdown compresses the shifter mount around the shifter cable to lock it in place, eliminating the "double click" sound when shifting into 2nd, 4th, and 6th gears. This added pressure prevents the opportunity for noise to occur.
O-rings installed on the ALTA Shifter Cable Lockdown act as a damper by eliminating extra vibration between the shifter cable and the shifter cable sleeve.
The ALTA Shifter Cable Lockdown is made of lightweight aluminum and is CNC-machined for a precise fit. It is finished with a black anodized coating and laser-etched with the ALTA logo and part number. While you may never see it again once installed, rest assured that it will maintain its look and function for years and miles to come.

○ Regarding Delivery
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. All products are generally shipped internationally from our warehouse in the United States. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international delivery takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all items are transported via air freight. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we handle are generally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they are not compliant with "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these regulations. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, or off-road use" purposes, and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to packaging boxes and products. We only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for products with shipping damage, defective goods, or items different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for items sold through us, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
