17-21 BRZ/86 MT PERRIN Cold Air Intake System
The PERRIN BRZ/86 Intake System places the air filter behind the front bumper, away from the hot exhaust manifold and radiator, to ensure a constant supply of cold, fresh air. Many competitors leave the air filter under the hood, where it draws in warm air and causes a loss of horsepower.
During normal part-throttle driving, the PERRIN intake sound is relatively standard, but under load, it truly comes to life, adding a throaty, deep growl that demands attention and alerts people that your car has definitely been modified.
The first and most important reason to purchase an intake is to increase the car's power. After many test versions, the PERRIN Cold Air Intake System has settled into its current form, which simply increases horsepower without causing check engine lights or other drivability issues.
The PERRIN intake has undergone many versions and months of testing to ensure a safe air-fuel ratio within the engine's limits. Precise placement of the MAF bung is key to the PERRIN intake's power. If an intake is not properly designed, the car may run dangerously lean, leading to engine failure or premature wear.
Powder-coated to protect against the elements, the textured finish will keep it looking great for years to come. The PERRIN BRZ/86 Cold Air Intake is available in your choice of black or red textured powder coat.
Constructed from CNC mandrel-bent aluminum tubing, the PERRIN intake system features a 2.75-inch inner diameter, smooth bends, and a perfectly positioned CNC-machined MAF bung. A high-performance "pinch" in the tube just below the PERRIN logo allows the PERRIN intake to clear the engine bay without cutting or trimming.
The PERRIN intake filter element uses open-cell foam to trap dust and dirt. The washable and reusable PERRIN foam filter element extends the life of your vehicle. The foam filter element provides excellent performance with minimal airflow restriction and incredible dust-trapping capability.

If you order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Estimates for shipping can be calculated automatically by entering your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with plenty of time. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for use on "circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging box or the product. We will only handle returns, refunds, or replacements for products with shipping damage, defective goods, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "only through us." We do not handle support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
