〇 Regarding import consumption tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Confirmation of fitment
All of our product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM), so please verify fitment for Japanese domestic vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to assist you.)
If an order is placed without confirming fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted after you select the year, make, and model on our homepage, it does not guarantee that the parts will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All product information is translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. In rare cases, there may be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost for large items such as body parts. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time for your order to arrive. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Please note that all products are transported by air. They will not be shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese vehicle inspection (Shaken) compliance
The products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they are not compliant with the "Japanese vehicle inspection (Shaken) system," and we are unable to provide strength inspection reports or similar documentation for this purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for use on "circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility that the shipping box or the product may sustain damage during transit. Please understand that for products with shipping damage, defective items, or items different from what was ordered, we will only handle returns, refunds, or exchanges if notified within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through our company." Please note that we do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
