Introducing the carbon turbo tube for the Honda FL5. This is a direct replacement for the factory metal turbo tube. Following the same design brief as our FK8 tube, the FL5 version was developed with three main objectives in mind.
1.) Volume: Inlet diameter – Starting at a maximum of 78mm at the intake end, it expands to 88mm. In contrast, the factory tube maintains a 76.5mm diameter all the way to the turbo inlet. This represents an increase in maximum cross-sectional area of over 32%. While the factory FL5 tube does not restrict turbo performance at standard boost levels, our larger tube offers greater benefits at higher boost levels where airflow demand is increased.
2.) Flow Quality: Simply having a larger internal volume is not enough. By using heat-resistant pre-preg carbon fiber, we have achieved a smooth internal surface. The factory inlet tube is made of cast aluminum, which has a rough internal surface. Combined with the smooth curvature of the elbow, this carbon turbo tube creates a flow path that minimizes turbulence.
3.) Temperature: The final criterion was to minimize heat transfer to the airflow. Since the standard inlet connects directly to the turbo, heat is transferred to the tube as the turbo spins, causing an increase in intake air temperature. Our system utilizes a machined flange that connects to the turbo and a silicone hose with an integrated thermal spacer, which prevents the carbon elbow from coming into direct contact with the turbo, while the low thermal conductivity of the carbon fiber prevents the intake air temperature from rising.

Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. All products are fundamentally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the delivery time. All products are transported via air freight. They are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
The products we handle are fundamentally all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.

Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself.
