〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Checking Fitment
Our entire product database is based on North American (USDM) vehicles. Please verify whether the product is compatible with your Japanese (JDM) vehicle before ordering. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look it up for you.)
If you place an order without confirming fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model on our top page tabs, this does not guarantee that they will fit your Japanese model vehicle without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be ambiguous expressions, please contact us if you have any questions before ordering.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products handled by our company are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide documents such as strength certificates for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for "use on circuits, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, there may be cases where shipping damage occurs to the packaging or the product itself. We will handle returns, refunds, or exchanges only if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding damaged, defective, or incorrect items. Please note that for products sold through our company, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
