ECUMaster WHP Wideband Knock Sensor Kit
The WHP Wideband Knock Sensor Kit is designed to leverage the advanced knock detection circuitry of modern ECUs such as the ECUMaster EMU. The EMU's knock processing chip is designed to utilize wideband or flat-response knock sensors. Until recently, most knock sensors were designed to generate output voltage only near a preset frequency based on engine characteristics, limiting the need for signal processing. The drawback of such sensors was their inability to distinguish between knock and noise.
Modern signal processing allows for the use of wideband sensors, enabling the EMU to process the signal across the entire range and look only for sounds that actually represent knock. The EMU can also filter the signal by crank degree to monitor the sensor only at engine positions where knock is likely to occur. Using the WHP Wideband Knock Sensor improves sensitivity to knock and provides better engine control, allowing tuners to maximize output with the confidence that the EMU will employ engine protection strategies when knock is detected.
The WHP Wideband Knock Sensor Kit is designed to work with many Toyota and Nissan engines, including 1JZ, 2JZ, 3SGTE, SR20, and RB series motors. Each kit includes a new genuine Bosch knock sensor with a 12-month warranty, mounting stud, retaining nut, and a pinned electrical connector.

○ Regarding Delivery
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the amount automatically calculated. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our warehouse in the United States. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. All products are transported via air freight. They are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please note that all products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for Japanese vehicle inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be damage to the packaging box or the product due to shipping. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for items with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please also note that for products sold through our company, warranty support will be handled "only through us." Please be aware that we do not provide support through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
