〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At Shaftoya, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Compatibility Verification
Our product database is based primarily on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm compatibility with Japanese domestic vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure whether a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If an order is placed without verifying compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, this does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese models without modification.
All product descriptions have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the amount automatically calculated. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international delivery takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when placing your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the estimated delivery date. All products are transported via air freight; they are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
All products handled by our company are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not designed to comply with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we are unable to provide strength study reports or similar documentation for this purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival of your order. Because all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, there may occasionally be damage to the shipping box or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or exchanges for products that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, provided we are notified within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through our company, all warranty-related matters will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not facilitate warranty claims through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
