〇 Regarding import consumption tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred upon importation on your behalf, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Checking for Compatibility
All product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM vehicles), so please check whether installation on Japanese vehicles (JDM vehicles) is possible before ordering. (Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure whether the listed product is compatible with your vehicle. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
If you order without verifying compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model on the tabs of our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. In rare cases, there may be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost for large items such as body parts. In such cases, we will contact you individually by email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the delivery date. Note that all products are transported by air mail; they are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please note that all products handled by our company are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation reports or similar documentation for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement items for damaged products, defective products, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be provided "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not provide support through other companies or distributors based in Japan.
