They say that to be successful, you must identify a need and fulfill it. In the early 1970s, racing enthusiast Gary Holzapfel noticed that many of his friends' blown engines were caused by fastener failure. At the time, there were no commercially available studs or bolts that could address this challenge. So, Holzapfel, drawing on his years of experience manufacturing fasteners for a major aerospace subcontractor, founded ARP (Automotive Racing Products). In the years that followed, the company grew from what was literally a backyard garage operation into a highly diversified manufacturer with seven entities in Southern California, totaling over 200,000 square feet. These include forging, heat-treating, machining, quality control finishing, and packaging/warehousing facilities in Santa Paula and Ventura, California.

At the Shafutoya shopping site, we pay the import taxes incurred during importation on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Confirmation of Fitment
Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm whether or not the product is compatible with Japanese vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model via the tabs on our homepage, it does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. There may be confusing expressions, so please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air freight. No shipments are made by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection (Shaken) standards," and we cannot provide structural strength documentation for the purpose of Japanese inspections. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for shipping-damaged items, defective products, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not provide support through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
