TRED has released two new mount adapters. When used in conjunction with the TPMK mount plate, these allow for either side-mount or flat-mount options. The TRED mount adapters are made from glass-reinforced nylon, the same material as the renowned ARB TRED PRO recovery boards, but with an increased glass fiber content for added strength. This material is lightweight and highly flexible, providing a solution for keeping TRED recovery boards within easy reach without obstructing cargo storage on your vehicle's roof rack. The TRED mount adapter system includes all stainless steel hardware to withstand harsh natural environments. The TRED side-mount adapters are specifically developed for use with the TRED mount base plate (part number TPMK) to mount TRED recovery boards to the sides of 1-inch (approx. 25.4mm) upper tube rails and 1.4-inch (approx. 35.6mm) bottom base rail tubes on vehicle roof racks.
