The ARB Intensity IQ driving lights were designed with a priority on performance while achieving a look that complements modern vehicle styling. Their unique four-optic system (super spot, spot, flood, and midrange) provides an infinite array of beam patterns to suit any road condition. The super spot and spot optics utilize free-form reflector technology to create a uniform spot beam ideal for long-distance illumination. The flood optics feature a specially designed lens that maximizes light spread to ensure excellent forward visibility. The midrange optics employ traditional parabolic reflectors to illuminate the mid-distance range. Furthermore, the beam pattern of each of the two lights can be adjusted independently; for instance, one can be set to spot while the other is set to flood. The innovative, smart new mounting bracket design allows for adjustment of the beam angle while also providing additional mass and surface area for cooling. A pair of lights achieves an intensity of 1 lux at 4,429 feet (approx. 1,350m) at the maximum spot setting, and 1 lux at 2,953 feet (approx. 900m) at the maximum flood setting, while providing a light spread of up to 164 feet (approx. 50m) to each side of the vehicle.
