Developed and thoroughly tested in the harsh Australian environment, these large-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorbers with remote reservoirs are designed as a bolt-on solution with no vehicle modifications required. They provide a comfortable ride in city driving while delivering superior chassis control and handling off-road. Damping is easily adjustable across a wide range of rebound and compression, allowing for custom tuning to match road conditions and vehicle setups. The body, reservoir, and components are all crafted from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with a 40-micron Type 3 hard-anodized coating for superior heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone chips. Not only designed, developed, and tested by ARB’s Old Man Emu ride engineering team, every BP-51 shock absorber is manufactured in-house at ARB. To achieve this, we have invested heavily in state-of-the-art machinery, allowing us to fully control the manufacturing process and ensure the highest quality.
