Based on the proven mounting method of ARB’s classic style roof racks, a dedicated base rack mounting kit has been developed for the Toyota 4Runner. Specialized blade brackets have been designed to suit base rack 1770020 (61" x 51" (approx. 1549mm x approx. 1295mm)). Featuring a dovetail extrusion on all edges and internal beams, the base rack offers infinite mounting and attachment options. The dovetail system allows for quick and easy addition, removal, and repositioning of accessories and roof loads, enabling individual items to be attached or removed without affecting the rest of the cargo. Furthermore, unlike traditional roof rack channels, the base rack's dovetail extrusion does not collect dust and debris. All base rack accessories and equipment, including large hardware such as Hi-Lift(TM) jack mounts, rollers, recovery boards, and even base rack custom light bars, attach to the rack using simple clamp mounts.
