A self-standing retractable awning that mounts smartly to most vehicles. It attaches to the side of most roof racks or roof bars and is conveniently stored for immediate use upon arrival. Specifically designed for harsh outback conditions, it features anodized height-adjustable telescopic legs, hook-and-loop ties to secure the roof, and heavy-duty reinforced aluminum extrusions. All of this is secured within a heavy-duty nylon-reinforced PVC bag to protect it from the elements. Constructed from tough PU-coated 300gsm poly/cotton ripstop canvas, it is waterproof and boasts a UVP 50+ rating. ARB awnings are available in three excellent sizes and accommodate mounting points up to 6.9 feet (approx. 2.1m) in height. (Length refers to the distance from the vehicle.) Pegs and guy ropes are included for securing the legs, and stainless steel mounting nuts and bolts, along with detailed instructions, are also provided.
