AEM 16-17 Chevy Malibu 2.0T Cold Air Intake

This AEM performance cold air intake system replaces your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to increase horsepower and torque. This air intake system is designed, tuned, and dyno-tested for specific Chevrolet Malibu models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter that provides superior airflow, filtration, and performance. The air filter is installed in the space of the factory air box and is protected by a heat shield designed to lower intake air temperatures and increase horsepower. The air intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum with a durable gunmetal gray powder coat finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices, including the mass air flow sensor and PCV lines. The conical AEM Dryflow air filter is made from oil-free synthetic filter media and can be used for up to approximately 100,000 miles (approx. 160,000 km) before cleaning is required (depending on driving conditions). This air intake system is easy to install using common tools and comes with an AEM lifetime limited warranty. This air intake is not for sale in California. It is not legal for use in California or other states that have adopted California emissions standards.

〇Confirming Compatibility
Since our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM), please confirm whether the product can be installed on a Japanese model vehicle (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to check for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated on the checkout page when you enter your shipping address. In rare cases, there may be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost for large items such as body parts. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.

Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea freight.

○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection Compatibility
Please be aware that all products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not adapted to the "Japanese vehicle inspection system" in any way, and we cannot provide strength calculation reports or similar documents for that purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-public roads," and installation and use are at your own risk.

○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order as soon as it arrives. As all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only handle returns, refunds, or exchanges for products with shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
