Perrin Subaru WRX Engine Cover Lockdown
Add a bit of flair and accent to your plain stock WRX engine cover with the PERRIN Engine Cover Lockdown. While the main purpose of this kit is to re-attach the engine cover after the factory mounting hardware fails, it also helps to make your engine bay unique and stand out from the rest.
After removing your WRX engine cover once or twice, the plastic push-pins often break. Although the engine cover can be re-installed even if the pins are broken, it will move or rattle while driving. The PERRIN Engine Cover Lockdown is a simple, clean-looking way to securely re-attach your engine cover after the pins have failed. Even if your cover pins aren't broken yet, this kit also serves as a great dress-up for your engine bay.
The PERRIN Engine Cover Lockdown works by attaching a corrosion-resistant stainless steel bracket to the engine, creating a mounting point for the cover. After drilling two holes in your plastic cover, the cover is held securely in place with two bolts and two billet aluminum washers. The brackets are made of stainless steel, while the washers are made of billet aluminum. The washers are finished in a durable red or black anodized coating and printed with the PERRIN logo.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time for delivery. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air; sea freight is not used.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we handle are generally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these regulations. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon delivery. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for shipping-damaged items, defective products, or incorrect items if you notify us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not handle warranty claims through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
