K-Tuned Honda B/D Series X-2 Shifter
K-Tuned released the original B/D Shifter in 2012. Since then, we have released 3 different versions. Over the years, K-Tuned has also made several minor changes to update the design, and in 2019, we completely overhauled the three designs.
Starting at the bottom, we replaced the white plastic cage that holds the ball with a Delrin bushing. Delrin is used because it is the strongest plastic available, is resistant to chemicals, and is perfect for automotive applications. Delrin is highly wear-resistant and has a low coefficient of friction, allowing for smooth shifting from the first use and for a long time to come. This provides a tighter feel than the original accordion-style plastic housing used in the OEM shifter. The Delrin bushing is covered with a TPV bushing to prevent dirt from entering the bearing assembly.
K-Tuned has replaced the stamped steel base plate with a 0.35-inch aluminum plate, making it sturdier and rust-free over time. This aluminum plate also increases the rigidity and feel of the shifter. This plate holds the bearing assembly, which we found to have play, be prone to rot, or be non-existent when using new aftermarket linkages, and we have also added another screw hole to further increase rigidity and triangulate the assembly.
Everything is now wrapped in a redesigned lower shaft. While maintaining the adjustable throw of the original shifter, K-Tuned has made it adjustable from inside the car. The 6061 aluminum, black-anodized lower adjustment shaft is machined with a notched section for easy throw adjustment by spinning it up or down. We have machined a site hole to make adjustments clear and easy to measure using the numbered steel internal shaft.

Please note: D15/D16 models use the factory steel plate. Remove the billet plate from the base and reuse the factory plate. Does not fit EM2/ES1 D17.

○Regarding Delivery
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there are rare cases where the automatic shipping calculation differs significantly from the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international delivery takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. All products are shipped via air freight. They are never shipped by sea.
○Regarding Japanese Road Legal Compliance (Shaken)
Please note that all products handled by our company are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product. For products with shipping damage, defective products, or products different from what was ordered, we will provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges only if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, we will handle all warranty-related matters "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not handle matters through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
