The 8Y S3 intake has been completely redesigned from the factory intake through to the turbo inlet. Drawing inspiration from the RS3 intake, we have maximized the available space to create an intake that accommodates all power levels, from stock to high-output builds with hybrid or full-frame turbos. This intake system was developed to provide the highest possible flow rate while keeping intake temperatures as low as possible.
Each component is engineered to provide a smooth, unrestricted flow to the turbo. The restrictive 73mm diameter factory inlet tube has been replaced with a larger 94mm diameter intake tube. The filter itself has an outer diameter of 192mm (7.5 inches) and a filtration area exceeding 110,000 mm². The patented venturi housing is designed to provide the largest internal volume possible within the Golf engine bay, delivering laminar flow to the turbo tube. Finally, the duct seals the filter opening to the front slam panel, but it is not restricted by just the factory entry feed. By raising the front of the duct, an additional 7-inch diameter intake is added behind the hood, allowing air to be drawn from there. This system provides a significant increase in airflow over the factory airbox while minimizing intake temperatures through its sealed design.

Shipping fees are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to confirm delivery times in advance. Note that all items are shipped via air freight; they are never shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection Compliance
Products handled by our company are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with the "Japanese vehicle inspection system," and we cannot provide strength calculation sheets or similar documents for that purpose.
